When do you need a fineliner?
A fineliner is used for precision work where an ordinary pen or felt-tip is too thick. The STABILO point 88 is ideal for technical drawings, architectural sketches, detailed hand lettering or whenever you need to draw thin, crisp lines. Thanks to its warm grey colour, this fineliner is perfect for designs where you want to add subtle accents.

Why a 0.4 mm line width?
With a line width of 0.4 mm, you get a fine yet still clearly visible stroke. This width is thin enough for detailed work, but not so thin that the line disappears on paper. You can use it for both writing text and drawing technical lines, which makes this fineliner versatile.

Suitable for use with tools
This fineliner is specifically suitable for use with rulers and templates. The metal tip ensures the pen does not get damaged when you run it along a measuring instrument, so you always get a straight, even line. This makes the pen particularly handy for technical drawing and precision work.

Practical benefits for everyday use
The hexagonal shape prevents the pen from rolling off your desk, which saves irritation while you work. The ventilated cap offers high protection against drying out, so your pen lasts a long time. Make sure you always replace the cap after use to maintain optimal performance.
