What does this fineliner do and when do you need it?
The STABILO Point 88 fineliner is ideal for precision work where you want to draw thin, even lines. With a line width of 0.4 mm, this pen is suitable for technical drawing, creating diagrams, filling in planners and detailed work where accuracy matters.

Why this line width of 0.4 mm?
The 0.4 mm tip strikes a perfect balance between precision and legibility. You can use it to draw fine details as well as write text that remains clearly readable. This width is thinner than standard felt-tip pens but thicker than ballpoint pens, giving you control over your linework without the result becoming too faint.

Practical design for long-term use
The hexagonal shape with striped design ensures the pen won't roll off your desk and sits comfortably in your hand. The metal tip offers extra durability with intensive use, while the ventilated cap prevents choking should you accidentally swallow it.

Compatibility with drawing tools
This fineliner is specially suited for use with rulers and templates. The tip does not wear down quickly and the ink flows evenly, even when you draw along a straight edge. The high resistance to drying out means you can leave the cap off for a while without the pen becoming unusable.
