What is a fineliner and when do you need one?
A fineliner is used for precise line work, such as technical drawings, hand lettering or detailed work where thin, crisp lines are essential. The STABILO Point 88 has been specially developed for work that requires precision, from architectural sketches to creative projects.

Why choose the 0.4 mm line width?
With a line width of 0.4 mm, you are right between the thinner and thicker variants. This width is ideal when you want to draw details that still need to be clearly visible, but should not become too dominant. You get sufficient coverage without the result becoming messy in detailed work.

Suitable for rulers and stencils
This fineliner is specifically suitable for use with rulers and stencils, which means the tip withstands the pressure and friction that arise when drawing along straight edges. The metal tip ensures that the fineliner retains its shape, even after intensive use with measuring instruments.

Practical details that make the difference
The hexagonal shape with a grip design prevents the pen from rolling off your desk and provides a good grip while drawing. The ventilated cap offers high protection against drying out, so your fineliner lasts longer. This feature is especially handy if you regularly forget to put the cap back on during creative sessions.
