What does this fineliner do and when do you need it?
The STABILO Point 88 fineliner is designed for precision work where you need thin, crisp lines of 0.4 mm. You use this pen for technical drawing, creating diagrams, hand lettering or detailed work where accuracy matters. Thanks to its constant line width, it also works perfectly with rulers and stencils.

Why this line width is the right choice
With a line width of 0.4 mm, this fineliner sits precisely between the thinner and thicker variants. This width gives you sufficient visibility for normal text and drawings, yet remains fine enough for detailed work. You can write comfortably with it without the lines becoming too thin to read well.

Practical benefit of the metal tip
The metal-cased tip ensures that the writing point retains its shape, even with intensive use. This means you enjoy the same constant line width for longer. The tip wears down more slowly than with ordinary fineliners, so your investment lasts longer.

Handy for use with rulers and stencils
This fineliner is especially suitable for use with rulers and stencils. The tip glides smoothly along straight edges without catching or collapsing. The ventilated cap also provides extra protection against drying out, so your pen still performs well even after a long period without use. The hexagonal shape prevents the pen from rolling off your desk.
