When do you use a metal ruler?
A metal ruler is indispensable for professional technical drawing, architecture and precision work where you need to draw straight lines and measure accurately. Unlike plastic rulers, aluminium does not warp and stays straight for years, so you always get reliable measurements.

Why choose a 500 mm length?
At a length of 500 mm, this ruler is ideal for A3-size drawings and larger technical plans. You can measure and draw up to half a metre, which is perfect for architectural scale models and extensive technical designs where smaller rulers fall short.

Advantage of the engraved millimetre scale
The millimetre graduation is engraved into the aluminium, not just printed on. This means the scale cannot wear away through intensive use with pencils, pens or even knives. The engraved lines always remain sharply visible, which is essential for accurate measuring.

Stable drawing with the anti-slip strip
The anti-slip strip on the underside prevents the ruler from sliding while you draw or measure. This is especially useful in technical drawing, where you use the ruler as a guide for drawing long, straight lines. The strip ensures your ruler stays exactly in place, even on smooth drawing boards.
