When do you need a Cat.6A S/FTP cable?
This patch cable is designed for professional network connections where you need higher speeds and reliability than standard Cat.5e cables can deliver. Cat.6A supports data transfer up to 10 Gigabits per second and is suitable for modern office environments with intensive network traffic. The 10 metre length gives you flexibility when connecting devices over longer distances within your office.

Why choose S/FTP shielding?
The S/FTP construction means this cable is doubly shielded: each wire pair has its own foil shield, and the entire cable has a braided shield around it. This double protection prevents interference from external electromagnetic sources such as fluorescent lighting, motors or other network cables. This makes the cable especially suitable for environments with a lot of electrical equipment.

Safety through a halogen-free composition
This cable is halogen-free, which means it does not release toxic gases when heated or in a fire. This is an important safety feature for office environments and is mandatory in many public buildings. The GHMT-PVP certification and UL listing confirm that the cable meets international safety and quality standards.

Practical installation tip
When laying the cable, make sure you observe the minimum bend radius to maintain performance. The black colour makes the cable less conspicuous in dark server cabinets or along dark skirting boards. Before installation, check whether your network equipment supports Cat.6A so you can fully benefit from the higher specifications.
