This Tombow set of 10 Manga colours gives you complete freedom to draw: a fine tip for precise lines, a broad tip for flat areas of colour. The colours blend effortlessly and are odourless, ideal for long working sessions at your desk.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
The TOMBOW ABT Dual Brush Pen is a professional dual-tip marker specially developed for manga artists and illustrators. These markers are indispensable when you are working on detailed drawings where you need both fine lines and flat colour fills. The water-based ink also makes these pens suitable for watercolour effects and colour gradients.
Why choose this manga-specific set?
This set of 10 pieces contains a carefully selected colour combination that fits perfectly with manga illustrations. The colour numbers 062, 158, 528, 623, 703, 755, 850, 873, N00 and N15 have been chosen specifically for skin, hair and shadow tones that are common in manga-style drawings. The dual-tip system gives you maximum flexibility in one pen.
Versatility with a dual tip
The greatest advantage of these pens is the combination of a fine tip for precise line work and a broad brush tip for applying flat colour. The line width varies from 0.8 to 10 mm, so you can move from detail work to large colour areas without switching pens. The water-based shades are also mixable with one another for subtle colour transitions.
Practical working tip
Thanks to the water-based ink, you can create beautiful gradient effects by blending colours wet-in-wet. The pens are odourless, which makes for pleasant working in small spaces. Store the pens horizontally and make sure both caps are closed properly to prevent the tips from drying out.
