When do you need a double brush pen?
A double brush pen such as the TOMBOW ABT-476 is ideal when you want flexibility in a single drawing tool. You use the fine tip for precise line drawings and details, while the broad brush side is perfect for filling larger areas. This makes the pen suitable for handlettering, illustrations, sketching and creative projects where you need both detail and volume.

Why choose a line width of 0.8-10 mm?
The range of 0.8 to 10 mm line width gives you extensive possibilities within one pen. The thin 0.8 mm line is precise enough for fine details and text, while the broad 10 mm brush side lets you quickly cover larger surfaces. This variety eliminates the need to constantly switch between different pens during your creative work.

Advantages of water-based ink
The water-based ink is odourless, so you can work comfortably indoors without annoying fumes. An important advantage is that the colours can be mixed with each other, which means you can create new shades by combining different TOMBOW ABT pens. This opens up possibilities for colour gradients and shadow effects in your work.

Practical tip for optimal use
For the best results, use smooth or lightly textured paper, as this allows the brush side to show its full potential. Store the pen horizontally to ensure that both tips remain evenly supplied with ink. The cyan blue colour ABT-476 combines well with other colours from the TOMBOW ABT series for colour mixing.
