What does this masking tape do and when do you need it?

WESTEX Gold Economy masking tape with film is designed for situations where you want crisp paint edges without paint bleed or unwanted overspray. You use it when you need to shield surfaces during spraying or painting work, such as in bodywork, industrial applications or precision interior work where sharp colour transitions are essential.

Why this size and this variant?

With a width of 1,400 mm and a roll length of 25 metres, this masking tape covers large surfaces in one go. That makes it particularly suitable for projects where you want to protect large areas quickly and efficiently, without having to keep laying new strips or overlapping them.

The combination of acrylic and electrostatic film

This product combines an acrylic adhesive with an electrostatic film. The acrylic adhesive ensures reliable adhesion to the masked area, while the electrostatic film keeps the film edge straight and flat. Because the tape is very thin and flexible, it conforms well to curved or irregular surfaces. Its tear resistance also makes it pleasant to work with, as the tape won't unexpectedly break while being applied.

Practical tip for use

This masking tape is particularly suitable for double masking, where you apply two layers over each other for extra protection or for repeated use in the same place. Because the tape unrolls very lightly, you work quickly and with little resistance. When purchasing, make sure you combine this product with a suitable tape dispenser for rolls 1,400 mm wide, so you can apply the full width optimally and without distortion.
