Waterproof sandpaper with closed-coat grit for preparing surfaces and smoothing them out. Ideal for hand sanding medium-sized projects.
When do you choose this product?
When do you use waterproof sandpaper?
Waterproof sandpaper is used when you apply wet sanding methods or work in damp conditions. This type of sandpaper retains its abrasive power when it gets wet, allowing you to sand without deep scratches.
The advantage of closed-coat grains
This WESTEX sandpaper has closed-coat grains, which means the abrasive particles are placed close together. This gives you an even sanding action across the entire surface and ensures the wear is distributed evenly. This results in a more consistent finish than with open-coat variants.
Practical use of this format
The 230×280 mm size is handy for hand sanding medium-sized surfaces. You can tear the sheet into smaller pieces for detail work, or use the whole sheet with a sanding block for flat surfaces. Thanks to its waterproof properties, you can combine it with water or solvents for a more effective sanding result and less dust formation.
