When should you choose watersoluble wax crayons?
Watersoluble wax crayons combine the ease of ordinary wax crayons with the possibilities of watercolour. You use this technique when you want to create both dry and wet effects in a single artwork. The material is ideal for artists who experiment with different textures and transitions between colours.

Watersoluble properties in practice
What makes these wax crayons special is that you can blend them with water to achieve watercolour effects. You first draw dry on paper, then apply water with a damp brush to let the colours flow. This gives you control over both sharp lines and soft transitions within the same artwork.

Practical application and material
The round shape with a paper wrapper provides a comfortable grip while drawing. The wax crayon is soft and smooth, so you can apply colour easily without exerting much pressure. For the best results with wet techniques, preferably use watercolour paper or sturdy drawing paper that absorbs water well.
