When do you choose this product?
What are CARAN D'ACHE NEOCOLOR I wax crayons?
NEOCOLOR I wax crayons are round wax pastels with a paper wrapper, specially developed for a variety of creative applications. You use these wax crayons when working on art projects, illustrations or technical drawings where you need water-resistant colours. Thanks to their unique composition, they are suitable for both professional artists and hobbyists.
Why choose this set of 15 pieces?
This colourfully assorted set of 15 pieces offers you a varied colour palette for different projects. The number of colours is large enough to apply a range of techniques, yet remains manageable and practical to use. The round shape provides a comfortable grip during long periods of drawing and colouring.
Water-resistant property for lasting results
The most important feature of these wax crayons is their water resistance. This means your work won't run or fade when it comes into contact with moisture. This property makes them particularly suitable for outdoor drawings, mixed media projects or works that may be exposed to damp conditions.
Building up layers for colour depth
A practical technique you can apply is layering colours on top of each other. The homogeneous colours make it possible to apply different layers over one another, allowing you to create deeper colour tones and interesting colour effects. This property gives you more scope to realise your creative vision than ordinary coloured pencils do.

Dex knows - user tips
Shake the wax crayons well before use to distribute the colour evenly, and test new layers on a separate sheet of paper to check how the metallic shades work over one another.
