When do you need a 1.5 mm artist pen?
The Faber-Castell PITT artist pen is ideal for artists and illustrators who want to create permanent line drawings. With its 1.5 mm tip, this pen is suitable for medium-sized details and expressive lines in illustrations, sketches and technical drawings. You choose this pen when you work with pigment-based ink that needs to stay beautiful for a long time.

Why red metallic in 1.5 mm?
The red metallic colour gives your drawings a special look with a subtle sheen. The 1.5 mm tip offers the perfect balance between precision and coverage: thick enough for striking accents, but not so broad that you lose control. This width works excellently for accentuating details or creating main lines in your artwork.

Permanent and lightfast for lasting results
This artist pen contains pigmented drawing ink that is highly lightfast, meaning your colours will not fade due to sunlight or lamplight. The ink is waterproof and permanent once dry, so you can safely work over it with other materials. Moreover, the ink is acid-free and odourless, ensuring a pleasant working experience.

Compatibility with different paper types
You can use this pen on virtually any drawing material, from plain paper to special artists' paper. Thanks to its permanent properties, you can combine the pen with watercolour, other inks or markers without the red metallic line bleeding. Store the pen horizontally or with the tip facing down for optimal ink flow.
