When do you choose this product?
When do you need soft pastel pencils?
Soft pastel pencils are ideal for artistic projects where you want to create rich, intense colours with a velvety-soft texture. You mainly use them for portraits, landscapes and other drawings where you want to apply subtle colour transitions and blending effects. This Studio Quality series from Faber-Castell is suitable for both beginning and advanced artists who create serious drawings.
Why choose a set of 36 colours?
With 36 different pastel pencils, you have an extensive colour palette at your disposal, allowing you to achieve virtually any shade you need. This range offers enough variety for complex colour mixes and gradations without being limited by too small a selection of colours. For most artistic projects, this number strikes a good balance between diversity and clarity.
Excellent blendability for artistic effects
These pastel pencils are specially developed to blend and mix easily, allowing you to create soft transitions and atmospheric effects. The silky-smooth colour release ensures that the pigments glide smoothly over the paper and adhere well. Thanks to the brilliant colours, your drawings retain their vibrancy, even after blending.
Lightfastness for lasting artworks
Thanks to the good lightfastness of these pastel pencils, your artworks will stay beautifully coloured for a long time, even when exposed to daylight. This makes them suitable for drawings you want to keep or exhibit. Store the pencils dry after use, and use a suitable surface such as special pastel paper for the best results.
