What does hardening modelling clay do?
Hardening modelling clay is ideal for making decorative objects, jewellery, miniatures and hobby projects that need to be permanent. You can shape it however you like and then harden it in an ordinary domestic oven. This makes it perfect for both beginners and experienced hobbyists who want to create lasting creations.

Why choose the soft variant?
FIMO SOFT is ready to knead straight away and feels softer than other varieties, so you don't need to use as much force while kneading and shaping. The clay is easy to blend, which is handy if you want to combine colours or create special effects. This makes longer sessions more comfortable for your hands.

How does the hardening process work?
This modelling clay hardens in 30 minutes at 110 degrees Celsius in an ordinary oven. The low temperature means you don't need any special equipment and can work safely at home. After baking you get a sturdy, permanent shape that you can still paint or finish if you like.

Practical layout and use
The 57-gram block is divided into 8 handy portions, so you can measure out exactly how much clay you need for your project. Measuring 55 x 15 x 55 mm, it fits compactly in your hobby drawer. This black colour is versatile: use it on its own for elegant objects, or mix it with other colours to create darker shades.
