What does this brush do and when do you need it?
The Pelikan bristle brush 613 F is a professional painting tool that you use for painting, drawing and creative projects. Thanks to the pure hog bristles, this brush delivers paint evenly. You need this type of brush when you want to draw more precise lines or add details to your artwork.

Why choose size 4?
Size 4 sits in the mid-range of brushes, allowing you to fill broader areas as well as work out reasonably fine details. This size gives you the flexibility to apply different painting techniques without constantly switching brushes. For beginner artists, this is a versatile choice that comes in handy for many projects.

The benefits of hog bristles
Hog bristles are durable and keep their shape well after prolonged use. They ensure consistent paint release and are suitable for various types of paint. The material also makes the brush easier to clean after use.

Practical tip for use and maintenance
The unvarnished wooden handle sits comfortably in your hand and gives you good control over your brushstroke. The short handle is specially suited to working with gouache boxes. Clean the brush straight after use with lukewarm water and, if needed, a mild soap. Store the brush with the tip facing up or lying flat to prevent the bristles from becoming deformed.
