What does this fineliner do for you?
The Pentel Pointliner is a permanent fineliner that you use for precision drawings, sketches and detail work where you need lines that won't go away. Thanks to the pigmented black ink, you get intense, deep lines that are long-lasting. This fineliner is ideal when you're working on projects where durability matters.

Why choose the 0.8 mm line width?
With a line width of 0.8 mm, this fineliner sits in the mid-range - not too thin for delicate details, but not so thick that you lose control. This width gives you sufficient coverage for bold lines and is suitable for both sketching and filling in smaller areas. You can work with it comfortably without the tip wearing down too quickly.

Permanent ink with a unique feature
What makes this Pointliner special is that its permanent, pigmented ink is waterproof and lightfast, which means your drawings won't fade in the sun or smudge when exposed to moisture. At the same time, you can combine this permanent fineliner with watercolour products. This enables mixed techniques, where you first draw permanent outlines and then paint over them with watercolour.

Practical tip for optimal use
The fibre tip (Faserspitze) delivers consistent ink flow, but store the fineliner horizontally to keep the tip in optimal condition. Thanks to its permanent properties, you can use this fineliner on different types of paper, but always test on a small piece first to check how the ink reacts with your specific surface.
