When do you need a Cat6 network cable?
Use this shiverpeaks network cable to connect devices with an internet connection to your router, switch or modem. With its length of 7.5 metres, you can easily bridge the distance between different rooms or from your workspace to the meter cupboard. Cat6 cables are suitable for fast internet connections and stable network connections in offices and home working situations.

Why choose this 7.5 metre version?
This cable length gives you enough room to place devices flexibly, without the cable being too short or snaking unnecessarily long through your space. For example, you can use it to connect your computer, printer or NAS system if it stands a little further from your network point. The white colour also blends in nicely against light walls and skirting boards.

Stable connection thanks to shielding
This cable has a 0.025 mm thick aluminium foil shield, combined with a copper wire shield. This PIMF (Pairs in Metal Foil) system protects against electromagnetic interference from other devices nearby. The gold-plated contact surfaces ensure good conductivity and prevent corrosion, keeping the connection reliable in the long term.

Note when connecting
This cable works with standard RJ45 connectors, which you will find on almost all network equipment. The AWG 27/7 copper conductors and 250 MHz bandwidth make it suitable for Gigabit Ethernet connections. Do check that your devices support Cat6 to get the best out of the cable's quality. The cable is manufactured halogen-free, which is safer when exposed to heat.
