What does this product do?
A Cat. 6 S/FTP patch cable connects network equipment such as computers, switches and routers for stable internet connections. You need this type of cable when you want reliable network connections within offices or between different rooms, especially where electromagnetic interference may play a role.

Why this 5-metre version?
The length of 5 metres offers sufficient flexibility for connections between equipment that is not placed directly next to each other, without unnecessary excess cable. This distance is ideal for connections within the same room or to nearby cabinets, where you can still achieve neat cable routing without the cable getting in the way.

Shielding against interference
The S/FTP shielding, with aluminium foil of 0.025 mm thickness and 80 x 0.12 mm copper wires, protects against electromagnetic interference. This means you maintain stable connections, even in environments with a lot of electrical equipment. The PIMF construction ensures that each wire pair is individually shielded, which further improves signal integrity at higher frequencies up to 250 MHz.

Practical compatibility
The RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contact surfaces fit all standard network ports. The reinforced boots protect the connection against damage and ensure a secure click-fit connection.
