When do you need a Cat. 7 network cable?
You use this shiverpeaks network cable to connect computers, routers, switches and other network equipment with each other. Cat. 7 cables are suitable for fast internet connections and data transfer in office environments where reliability is crucial. You need this cable when you want to achieve stable network connections over medium distances.

Why exactly 7.5 metres in length?
At 7.5 metres in length, this cable comfortably bridges the distance between network ports in different rooms or from workstation to switch cabinet. This length offers sufficient flexibility for routing through office spaces without unnecessary cable surplus that would make your workstation look untidy. The black design ensures a discreet appearance along skirting boards and under desks.

S/FTP shielding against interference
This cable has S/FTP shielding with aluminium foil and copper wire, which effectively blocks electromagnetic interference. The shielding prevents nearby devices or other cables from disrupting your network connection. This is especially important in office environments with a lot of electronic equipment, where unshielded cables can cause performance problems.

Compatibility and connection
The RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts fit all standard network ports on computers, routers and switches. The TIA/EIA 568B wiring ensures compatibility with common network equipment. Please note that both devices you are connecting must be fitted with RJ45 network ports – these are the rectangular connections you find on most modern devices.
