When do you need a Cat.6A S/FTP cable?
Use this network cable when you need reliable, stable internet connections between devices in your office. Cat.6A cables are suitable for higher speeds than standard Cat.5e cables and can also carry Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing you to supply devices such as IP phones, security cameras and access points with both data and power through a single cable.

Why choose the 3 metre length?
With 3 metres you have sufficient length for most office connections without unnecessary cable surplus. This length is ideal for connections between your workstation and network switch, or between devices located within a limited distance of each other. This way you avoid messy cables while still keeping flexibility in your network layout.

Benefits of the S/FTP shielding
This cable has both foil shielding per wire pair and an overall braided shielding. This double protection ensures that electromagnetic interference from outside has minimal impact on your network connection. This is especially important in office environments where many electronic devices are active at the same time.

Practical considerations
The cable is halogen-free, which means that no toxic gases are released when it burns - an important safety feature for office environments. Do check that your network equipment supports Cat.6A to make optimal use of its capabilities. The GHMT-PVP certification and UL listing guarantee that the cable meets international quality and safety standards.
