This quality flat brush with natural bristles gives a lovely, even paint finish. At 40mm wide, it's ideal for renovation projects, and the sturdy plastic handle sits comfortably in the hand.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a natural bristle brush?
This WESTEX Natural 60 brush has been specially developed for simple renovation work and industrial applications. You choose a natural bristle brush when working with oil-based paints, varnishes or treatments where an even paint release is important. Natural bristles hold paint better than synthetic varieties and ensure a more professional finish.
Why exactly 40 mm width?
The 40 mm width makes this brush ideal for medium-sized surfaces and detail work. You're not too wide for corners and trim, but not too narrow to work efficiently on larger areas. This size offers the perfect balance between precision and coverage for most renovation projects.
What does the 6th strength class mean?
The 6th strength class indicates that this brush is sturdy enough for regular use, yet remains flexible for good paint distribution. The light natural bristle brushes are bought and treated once, which means they are ready to use straight away without any pre-treatment. The plastic handle provides a comfortable grip during prolonged use.
Practical tip for optimal results
Rinse the brush under water before first use to remove any loose bristles. The white metal ferrule (the metal band around the bristles) ensures the hairs are held firmly in place. After use, store the brush horizontally or hanging, so the natural bristles keep their shape and last longer.
