This soft 3B pencil is ideal for sketching and artistic work. The hexagonal shape sits comfortably in your hand and prevents rolling off your desk.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a 3B pencil?
A pencil with a 3B grade is ideal for drawing, sketching and artistic work where you want to create dark, soft lines. The graphite releases easily, allowing you to make expressive strokes and beautiful shading effects. This type of pencil is mainly used for creative projects where line thickness variation is important to you.
Why choose the hexagonal shape?
The hexagonal shape of this BIC Criterium pencil ensures that it won't roll off your drawing board or desk. You also get a stable grip while working, which is especially pleasant during long drawing or sketching sessions. This shape sits more comfortably in the hand than round pencils and reduces finger fatigue.
A deliberate choice: no eraser
This pencil has no built-in eraser, which is an advantage for serious drawing work. Pencil erasers are often of inferior quality and can cause smudges or tears in your work. By choosing a pencil without an eraser, you maintain the balance of the pencil and prevent the back end from becoming heavier as the eraser wears down.
Recognisable by its green lacquer coating
The green lacquer coating makes this pencil easy to recognise among other drawing tools. This helps you quickly pick up the right pencil during creative sessions in which you use several hardness grades. The lacquer coating also protects the wood against moisture and extends the pencil's lifespan.
