When do you need a drum unit?
A drum unit is an essential part of your laser printer that ensures the toner is transferred correctly onto the paper. You'll notice your drum unit is due for replacement when your prints become blurred, show streaks or smudges, or when your printer displays an error message. The drum unit works together with the toner cartridge but has a longer lifespan.

Why the DR-6000 is the right choice
This Brother drum unit is specially developed for older Brother HL, MFC, DCP and FAX series printers. With a capacity of approximately 20,000 pages, the DR-6000 offers excellent value for money, especially with regular use. You need to replace the drum unit less often than toner cartridges, which means less maintenance and lower costs per print.

Reliable performance for professional use
The 20,000 page capacity makes this drum unit suitable for both home offices and small businesses with average to high print volumes. You can count on printing for months without worrying about the quality of your documents. The drum unit delivers sharp text and clear images throughout its entire lifespan.

Compatibility and a practical tip
Check whether your printer model is on the extensive compatibility list, which includes popular models such as the HL-1430, MFC-9660 and DCP-1400 series. This drum unit works together with the TN-6600 toner, so make sure you have both components in stock. Always replace the toner first before replacing the drum unit, unless there are specific quality issues that point to a worn drum.
