When you choose a yellow toner cartridge
You need a yellow toner cartridge when you print colour documents on your Brother laser printer. This TN-246Y cartridge is specially designed for printing yellow tones in presentations, charts, photos and other colour documents. Without a working yellow toner, you cannot make full-colour prints.

Compatibility with Brother DCP, HL and MFC series
This toner cartridge is only suitable for specific Brother printer models from the DCP series (9017, 9017CDW, 9022, 9022CDW), HL series (3142, 3142CDW, 3152, 3152CDW, 3172, 3172CDW) and MFC series (9142, 9142CDN, 9332, 9332CDW, 9342, 9342CDW). The cartridge does not fit other Brother models, so always check your exact printer number before ordering.

Capacity of 2200 pages
With this cartridge you can print approximately 2200 pages, based on standard test conditions. This means you can go a long time with one cartridge, especially if you do not use large amounts of yellow every day. The capacity applies to documents with an average colour distribution.

Identify the right model by the reference code
Look for the reference code TN-246Y in your printer manual or on the old cartridge. This code ensures that you order the correct cartridge. You will often also find this information on a sticker in your printer's cartridge compartment, which makes it easier to identify the right replacement.
