A transfer unit is an essential component in colour laser printers that ensures the toner from the drum is transferred correctly onto the paper. Without a properly functioning transfer unit, you get streaky prints, incomplete colour transfer or no print result at all. You replace this Brother BU-220CL when your printer indicates that the transfer unit has reached the end of its service life.

Why this BU-220CL transfer unit is the right choice
This transfer unit has been specially developed for Brother's HL-3100 and MFC-9000 series printers. The OEM number BU-220CL guarantees that you receive the original Brother part, meaning the unit fits perfectly with the technical specifications of your printer. This prevents compatibility problems and keeps your printer performing as the manufacturer intended.

A capacity of 50,000 pages means long-lasting use
With a capacity of 50,000 pages, this transfer unit will last considerably longer than most toners. This means you will probably replace several toner cartridges before the transfer unit needs replacing. For an average office printing 500 pages per month, this unit will last about 8 years.

Check your printer model for compatibility
This BU-220CL works with the Brother models HL-3150CDW, HL-3170CDW, DCP-9020CDW, MFC-9140CDN, MFC-9330CDW, MFC-9340CDW and DCP-9017CDW. Check the exact model number on the rating plate of your printer before ordering. You can find further compatibilities using the search function on our website!
