What does a drum unit do and when do you need one?
A drum unit is an essential part of your laser printer that transfers toner to the paper. When you experience printing problems such as faint prints, streaks on the paper or blotchy prints, it is time to replace the drum unit. The drum unit works together with the toner cartridge but has a longer lifespan.

This specific Brother drum unit has been developed for various Brother HL, DCP and MFC series printers. The OEM reference number DR-3600 guarantees that you have the correct original part for optimal print quality. Original Brother drum units are matched to the specific characteristics of Brother printers for consistent results.
