What does this product do?
A calligraphy pad is used for practising handwriting and calligraphy. This Calligraphe pad is specially designed with Séyès ruling, the French line system that helps develop a neat and even writing style. The 170 × 220 mm format offers ample space for extensive writing exercises.

Why choose this format?
The 170 × 220 mm format sits comfortably on your desk without taking up too much space. With 48 pages, you have plenty of practice room for multiple sessions, while the pad remains easy to handle. The size is ideal for both beginners and advanced practitioners of calligraphy.

Séyès ruling for perfect letterforms
The Séyès system is characterised by horizontal lines with vertical guide lines that help you position letters correctly. This French method ensures consistent letter height and correct proportions between capitals and lowercase letters. The 90 g/m² paper is sturdy enough to prevent ink bleed-through.

Practical features
The transparent polypropylene cover protects your work from dirt and moisture, while keeping the first page visible. The piqûre binding (saddle stitch) holds all pages firmly together, and the pad lies flat open while you write. The vélin surfin paper has a smooth texture suitable for various writing instruments such as fountain pens, fineliners and calligraphy pens.
