When do you need a cyan ink cartridge?
This Canon CLI-551C cartridge contains cyan ink, one of the four basic colours your printer uses for colour prints. You need this cartridge when your printer indicates that the cyan ink has run out, or when blues and greens appear faded or incorrect on your prints.

Which Canon printers is this cartridge suitable for?
This cartridge is specifically designed for Canon Pixma printers from the 551 series, including the IP8750, IX6850, MG5450, MG5550, MG6350, MG6350S, MG6450, MG7150, MX725 and MX925. By choosing the correct OEM cartridge, you ensure that the ink is perfectly matched to your printer model.

What does the 7 ml capacity mean for you?
With 7 ml of cyan ink, you can print a considerable number of pages, depending on how much blue and green your documents contain. Photos with a lot of sky, water or nature use more cyan ink than text documents. This capacity is standard for this printer range and ensures consistent print quality.

Recognise your printer by the correct code
Always check that CLI-551C is printed on the packaging of your current cartridge, or look in your printer manual under ink cartridges. The reference code 6509B001 can also be found on Canon's own cartridges. Only replace the empty cyan cartridge and leave the other colours in place if they are still filled.
