When do you need a cyan ink cartridge?
This Canon CLI-8C cyan ink cartridge is essential when you are making colour prints and the cyan has run out. Cyan is one of the four basic ink colours in your printer and creates the blue and green tones in photos and documents. Without cyan, you can no longer make full-colour prints.

Why the CLI-8C cartridge for your Canon printer?
This cartridge has been specially developed for a wide range of Canon Pixma printers, from the IP series to MP and MX models. The CLI-8C uses Canon's own ink formulation, which is perfectly matched to the print heads of these printers. This ensures reliable colour reproduction without the risk of clogging.

What does the 13 ml capacity mean in practice?
With 13 ml of cyan ink, you can print a considerable number of pages, depending on how much cyan your prints contain. For standard text documents with a few blue elements, you will get more out of this cartridge than when printing photos with a lot of sky or water. Canon has calculated this quantity so that it is well balanced with the other colours in the system.

Check compatibility with your printer model
Check whether your Canon printer is on the list: Pixma IP3300, IP4300, IP5300, IP6600D, IP6700D, IX4000, IX5000, MP500, MP510, MP530, MP600, MP600R, MP800, MP800R, MP810, MP830, MP960, Pro9000, IP3500, IP4500, MX700, MP520, MP610, MP970 or MX850. Look at the model number on your printer - even small differences can mean that the cartridge does not fit.
