When do you need coloured ink cartridges?
If you print photos, documents with colour charts or other colourful materials, you need coloured cartridges alongside black ink. This Canon CL-546 cartridge supplies the cyan, magenta and yellow needed for full-colour prints on your Canon Pixma printer.

Suitable for multiple Canon Pixma models
This cartridge is compatible with several Canon Pixma printers, including the IP2850, MG2450, MG2550 and TS3150. So you can use the same cartridge if you have more than one of these printer models at home, which is handy for home offices or small businesses.

What does an 8 ml ink capacity give you?
With 8 ml of ink you can print approximately 180 pages in colour. This is based on standard test pages with an average colour distribution. With intensive photos or documents with a lot of colour, this number will be lower, while with documents containing little colour you will get more pages from a single cartridge.

Check the correct cartridge code
Always check that your printer supports the CL-546 cartridge (reference number 8289B001). You can usually find this code on the old cartridge or in your printer's manual. Store opened cartridges at room temperature and use them within a few months for the best print quality.
