When do you need a yellow ink cartridge?
This Canon CLI-521 yellow ink cartridge is essential for printing colourful documents and photos. You need this cartridge when your printer indicates that the yellow ink has run out, or when your colours become dull or take on a greenish tint. Without yellow ink, your Canon Pixma printers cannot reproduce the full colour range.

Perfect for these specific Canon Pixma models
This ink cartridge has been specially developed for Canon Pixma printers from the iP3600/iP4600/iP4700 series and MP models such as the MP540, MP550, MP560, MP620, MP630, MP640, MP980 and MP990. The MX860 and MX870 multifunction printers also use this cartridge. Thanks to its exact fit, the cartridge works seamlessly with these printer models.

Compact 9 ml capacity for regular users
With a capacity of 9 ml, this cartridge provides enough yellow ink for average use. The compact design fits perfectly in the designated holder of your printer. This quantity is ideal if you regularly print colour documents or photos, but do not process extremely high volumes.

Recognise the right cartridge by its code
When purchasing, always check the OEM reference 2936B001 and the designation CLI-521Y (where the Y stands for Yellow). These codes are usually found on the packaging and in your printer manual. To be on the safe side, always check your printer model in the manual before installing the cartridge, even if it appears on the compatibility list.
