When do you need a magenta ink cartridge?
This Canon CLI-551M ink cartridge delivers the magenta colour that is essential for colour photos and documents. You need this cartridge when your printer indicates that the magenta ink has run out, or when your printouts take on a pink tinge or magenta colours no longer appear vivid.

Suitable for these Canon Pixma models
This ink cartridge has been specially developed for Canon Pixma printers from the 500 and 700 series, including the IP8750, IX6850, MG5450, MG5550, MG6350, MG6350S, MG6450, MG7150, MX725 and MX925. These printers use the five-colour system in which each colour has its own separate cartridge, ensuring accurate colour reproduction.

Contents and print quality of 7 ml
With a capacity of 7 ml, this cartridge provides sufficient ink for regular use. The quantity is matched to the other colours in the CLI-551 system, so that all cartridges run out at roughly the same time. Canon's original ink formulation ensures that the magenta colour stays bright and colourfast, without fading.

Identify the correct cartridge by its code
When purchasing, check the exact type code CLI-551M and the OEM number 6510B001 to be sure you are buying the right cartridge. These codes are also printed on the empty cartridge you remove from your printer. Do not leave empty cartridges in the printer for too long, as dried-up ink residue can damage the print head.
