This sturdy sketch pad with a linen texture is specially made for acrylic paint. You can apply both thin, transparent layers and thick, undiluted layers of paint without the paper warping. Thanks to the acid-free paper, your artwork stays beautiful for years.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need special acrylic paper?
This sketch pad is specifically designed for acrylic paint and offers a canvas-like texture that is ideal for this type of paint. Choose this product when you want to work with acrylic paint on paper instead of canvas, which is more practical and more affordable for studies, exercises or smaller artworks.
Why this size and thickness?
At 300×400 mm you have enough space for extensive compositions without the pad becoming unwieldy. The thick 400 g/m² paper can withstand the moisture of acrylic paint and prevents the paper from curling or tearing while you paint.
Suitable for undiluted acrylic paint
The canvas texture and heavyweight paper make it possible to work with highly opaque, undiluted layers of paint. This means you can apply intense colours without the paint soaking through the paper or the texture being lost. The acid-free paper ensures that your work will not discolour over time.
Practical use and storage tip
The pad is glued along the short side, so you can easily tear off a sheet without damaging the rest of the pad. With 10 sheets you have enough material for several projects. Store the pad flat and dry to prevent warping, and let finished works dry thoroughly before stacking them.
