When do you need special acrylic paper?
This CANSON sketch pad has been specially developed for acrylic painting with its thick 400 g/m² paper. The linen texture mimics the surface of a painter's canvas, giving you the authentic painting experience without having to stretch a canvas.

Why choose this large format?
The 500×700 mm format gives you plenty of room for larger artworks or detailed studies. You can work comfortably without feeling limited by the dimensions. This format is also practical because you can make smaller compositions within the large sheet, or cut the paper up for several smaller works.

Suitable for acrylic paint in various techniques
The thick 400 g/m² paper handles heavy acrylic layers well. You can work with undiluted, highly opaque paint layers for impasto effects, but also with thinned paint for thin, transparent washes. The acid-free paper ensures your artwork won't discolour or yellow due to chemical reactions in the paper.

Conveniently glued along the short edge
The pad is glued along the short side, which means you can easily detach the sheet when your work is finished. With 10 sheets, you have enough paper to experiment with different techniques. Store the pad horizontally to prevent the sheets from warping.
