When should you use this drawing paper?
This CANSON Mi-Teintes drawing paper is specially developed for pastel drawings and chalk work. The paper provides the ideal surface when working with dry drawing media that require adhesion. The 160 g/m² paper weight ensures the paper is sturdy enough to carry multiple layers of pastel pigment without tearing or bending.

Why choose this size and composition?
With a size of 320×410 mm, this pad offers enough space for medium-sized artworks and studies. The 20 sheets are glued along the short edge, so you can draw easily without the pad getting in the way. You get a varied selection with 5 sheets each in 4 different colours: pastel yellow, antique, grey-brown and ivory.

Unique feature: double-sided texture
This drawing paper has two different textures: one side with a honeycomb structure that offers more grip for intensive pastel work, and one side with a finer grain for detailed work. This feature gives you as an artist the flexibility to choose which texture best suits your technique and desired effect.

Practical tip for use
Test both sides of the paper before starting your final drawing. The honeycomb texture holds more pastel pigment and is ideal for expressive, colourful works, while the finely grained side is suitable for detailed studies. Store unused sheets in a dry environment to prevent curling.
