What does this watercolour paper do and when do you need it?
This watercolour paper block has been specially developed for all wet techniques such as watercolour, gouache and acrylic paint. You need this paper when you work with water-based paint materials and are looking for a stable surface that can absorb moisture well without tearing or warping.

Why this size and weight is the right choice
The 24×32 cm size offers enough room for detailed work without becoming too large for beginners. With a paper weight of 300 grams, you get a sturdy base that withstands multiple layers of wet paint and prevents water from seeping through. This weight ensures the paper keeps its shape while you paint.

Fine surface texture for versatile use
The fine surface of this Montval paper gives you control over paint spreading and detail. This texture is suitable for both precise techniques and flat colour washes. The paper is acid-free and fungicide-treated, so your artwork stays beautiful for a long time and does not yellow from acid exposure.

Practical benefits of the glued edge
The block is glued along the short side, which means you can easily tear off the paper without the block falling apart while you work. The paper's correction capacity allows you to remove mistakes or make adjustments without damaging the paper. With 12 sheets, you have enough material for a series of works or for practice.
