When do you need an S/FTP network cable?
An S/FTP network cable is used for reliable network connections between devices such as computers, switches, routers or NAS systems. You need this cable when you want a stable network connection or want to connect devices in your network to each other. The shielded design (S/FTP) ensures that external interference does not affect your network performance.

Why choose this 2-metre length?
At 2 metres, you have enough reach for most office and home situations without unnecessary excess cable. This length is ideal for connections between devices that are relatively close together, such as from your computer to a switch or from a router to a desktop. By choosing the right length, you avoid messy cables and possible trip hazards.

Reliable RJ45 connectors with extra protection
This cable has RJ45 plugs with rasthebelschutz – extra protection that prevents the locking clip from breaking accidentally. The connectors are fitted with knickschutz and zugentlastung, which means the cable is resistant to bending and pulling at the connection points. This significantly extends its lifespan, especially in environments where cables are frequently connected and disconnected.

Practical features for professional use
The LSZH sheath ensures that no toxic gases are released when heated, which is important in office environments. Thanks to the 1:1 belegung, all eight wires are connected through, making the cable suitable for all standard network connections. The green colour helps you organise your network installation when you want to distinguish between different connection types.
