With this shielded Cat6 cable you get a fast and stable network connection. The extra protection against interference and kinking connectors ensures reliability for years.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a Cat6 S/FTP network cable?
A Cat6 network cable is used to connect devices such as computers, printers or switches to each other via a network. This cable is suitable for gigabit ethernet connections and ensures stable data transmission in your office environment.
Why choose the 1 metre length?
The 1 metre length is ideal for short connections, for example between your computer and a nearby switch or router. This compact length prevents unnecessary cable slack on your desk and keeps your workspace neat and organised.
What does S/FTP shielding mean?
This cable has double shielding: both the individual wire pairs are wrapped in metal foil (PIMF) and the entire cable has braided shielding. This protects against electromagnetic interference from other devices, which is especially important in office environments with a lot of electronics.
Practical details for use
The cable has a 1:1 pin layout, meaning both ends are wired identically - the standard for network equipment. The connectors feature strain relief and trigger-free latch protection, so they hold up longer when plugged and unplugged regularly. The length marking on the connectors helps you identify the right cable in more complex network setups.
