What does a Cat. 6 patch cable do?
A patch cable is used to connect network components such as computers, switches, routers or patch panels to one another. This Cat. 6 variant is suitable for modern networks where you need stable data connections. With the 1:1 connection, this cable provides a direct link between two network ports.

Why choose 0.25 metres?
This short length of 0.25 metres is ideal for connections in patch cabinets, server racks, or when devices are placed close together. Thanks to the compact length, you avoid unnecessary cable clutter and keep your workspace tidy. It is exactly long enough for short distances without any excess cable.

S/FTP shielding against interference
The S/FTP construction means this cable is doubly shielded: each wire pair has its own metal foil shield, and surrounding these is a braided shield. This double protection safeguards your network connection against electromagnetic interference, which is especially important in environments with a lot of electrical equipment.

Practical details for use
The RJ45 connectors feature strain relief and boot protection, which protects the cable from damage when plugging and unplugging. The length marking on the connectors helps with identifying the cable. The AWG 27/7 specification means each wire consists of 7 fine strands, which ensures flexibility when routing the cable.
