When do you use a Cat. 6A patch cable?
A patch cable is used to connect network equipment with each other, such as computers, switches, routers or printers in your office. Cat. 6A cables are suitable for fast internet connections and file transfers within your network. You need this cable when you want to create reliable network connections that are future-proof.

Why choose this slim 1 metre size?
This patch cable has a diameter of just 3.8 mm, making it much thinner and more flexible than standard patch cables. This makes it ideal for cramped spaces such as server cabinets, under desks or in cable trays where room is limited. With a length of 1.0 metre, it is perfect for short connections between equipment that stands close together.

What do F/FTP and 10 Gbit/s speed mean?
F/FTP stands for double shielding that keeps out electromagnetic interference, which ensures stable connections even in environments with a lot of electrical equipment. The cable supports a transmission speed of 10 Gbit/s at a frequency of 500 MHz. This means you enjoy very fast file transfers and your network is ready for future speed requirements.

Practical connection details
The cable has RJ45 plugs that fit all standard network ports on computers, switches and routers. The LSZH AWG 32/7 material ensures that less harmful fumes are released when heated. Thanks to the flexible design, you can easily pull the cable through small openings and make sharp bends without damaging it.
