When do you need a Cat. 6A patch cable?
A Cat. 6A patch cable is used to connect network equipment in situations where you need high internet speeds. This cable supports transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s and operates at a frequency of 500 MHz, making it suitable for demanding applications such as data centres, professional office environments and home offices with fast internet connections.

Why choose this slim design?
With a diameter of just 3.8 mm, this patch cable is considerably thinner than standard network cables. The slim and flexible design makes it ideal for situations where you have limited space, such as behind computer cabinets, in cable trays or when creating neat connections in patch panels. The flexibility prevents the cable from breaking when bent.

What does F/FTP shielding mean?
The F/FTP construction provides double protection against electromagnetic interference. This ensures the cable maintains stable connections, even in environments with a lot of electronic equipment. The LSZH sheath produces less smoke and toxic gases when heated, which is important for safety in office buildings.

Practical compatibility
This 1.5 metre cable has standard RJ45 connectors and works with all common network equipment such as switches, routers, computers and laptops. The AWG 32/7 conductor format means the cable consists of multiple thin strands, which benefits flexibility without compromising signal quality.
