When do you need this thick colouring pencil?
The Faber-Castell Jumbo GRIP colouring pencil has been specially developed for children who are just learning to draw and colour. The extra thick 5.3 mm lead provides sturdy lines and is less breakable than ordinary pencils. This makes it ideal for toddlers, young children and beginner artists who are still developing their fine motor skills.

Why choose the triangular shape?
The triangular shape prevents your fingers from slipping while colouring. This shape automatically encourages the correct grip, which is important for developing writing skills. The colouring pencil sits steadily in small hands and won't roll off the table, which is practical in classrooms or at home.

What makes the Soft-Grip Zone special?
The Soft-Grip Zone offers extra grip and comfort while drawing. This zone ensures your fingers don't slip, even during prolonged use. The pastel yellow colouring pencil is water-soluble, so you can create beautiful watercolour effects by going over the coloured areas with a damp brush.

Practical details for everyday use
With a length of 175 mm, this colouring pencil is the right size for children's hands. The name field on the pencil is handy for use at school or in childcare – that way you won't lose the pencil. Store the pencil lying down in a pencil case to protect the tip and extend its lifespan.
