When do you need an extra thick colouring pencil?
This Faber-Castell Jumbo GRIP colouring pencil has been specially developed for young children who are just learning to draw and colour. The thick 5.3 mm core makes the pencil less likely to break and produces a broad line of colour, perfect for colouring in large areas.

Why the triangular shape is ideal
The triangular shape of this colouring pencil sits naturally in the hand and helps children develop the correct pencil grip. The Soft-Grip zone provides extra grip and prevents small fingers from slipping while drawing. This makes the pencil particularly suitable for toddlers and young children.

Water-soluble for creative techniques
A special feature of this pencil is that it is water-soluble. You can colour first and then go over the drawing with a wet brush to create watercolour effects. This opens up new creative possibilities and makes drawing even more fun for children.

Practical details for everyday use
At a length of 175 mm, this pencil is the perfect size for small hands. The name field ensures that the pencil doesn't get lost at school or at childcare - you can easily write your child's name on it. The pastel pink colour is popular with many children and gives soft, beautiful shades.
