This is why Dex likes this article
Versatile marker that writes excellently on CDs, DVDs and overhead sheets. The water-soluble ink is colour-intense and dries very quickly, perfect for all your labelling tasks.
When do you choose this product?
What does the Faber-Castell MULTIMARK F marker do?
This non-permanent marker has been specially developed for writing on CDs and DVDs. Because it is water-soluble, you can remove text and labels again without damaging the disc. The marker is also suitable for use on OHP films (overhead projector transparencies).
Why choose the 0.8 mm fine tip?
With a line width of approximately 0.8 mm, you get a fine, sharp line that is perfect for writing titles, dates and other information in the narrow space of a CD label. The tip has a metal sleeve, which makes it durable and helps it retain its shape, even with regular use.
Bright, fast-drying ink
The ink is richly coloured and bright, so your text remains clearly legible on both light and dark disc surfaces. A major advantage is that the ink dries within a few seconds, so you can carry on labelling straight away without fear of smudging or marks.
Practical tip for optimal use
Store the marker horizontally to keep the ink flowing evenly. Because the marker is water-soluble, you can easily correct any writing mistakes with a damp cloth. Do make sure you cap the marker properly after use to prevent it from drying out.

Dex knows - user tips
No hazard statements have been provided. Now the usage tip: the Faber-Castell Multimark 151499 is a waterproof OHP/CD/DVD marker. A well-known usage tip for this type of marker is that the ink on smooth surfaces (such as CDs/DVDs and transparencies) needs to dry before you touch the surface — the product description confirms this ("sekundenschnell trocken", meaning "dries in seconds"), which indicates that quick drying is a deliberate feature. That is a relevant usage tip.
Allow the ink to dry completely before touching or stacking the written surface, even though the marker dries within a few seconds.
