When do you need a brush pen?
This Faber-Castell PITT artist pen has been specially developed for drawers, illustrators and artists who work with pigment ink. You use this type of pen when you want to create variable line widths in a single stroke, from fine details to broad areas. The pigment ink delivers professional results that are permanent and do not fade.

Why choose the brush tip variant?
The brush tip (pinsel punt) gives you the flexibility to make both thin lines of 1.0 mm and broad strokes up to 5.0 mm, depending on the pressure and angle at which you use the pen. This makes it ideal for expressive drawings, calligraphy and illustrations where line variation matters. The scarlet dark colour (219) offers a rich, warm red tint.

Permanent and lightfast properties
This drawing pen contains pigmented drawing ink that is waterproof and permanent once dry. The high lightfastness means your artworks won't discolour when exposed to light. In addition, the ink is acid-free and odourless, which is important for archiving and use in enclosed spaces.

Practical usage tip
The cap has a handy clip so you can attach the pen to your sketchbook or bag. Make sure you always close the cap properly after use to prevent the tip from drying out. This pen works best on smooth to lightly textured paper for optimal ink release.
