What does this product do?
This Faber-Castell PITT artist pen is a professional brush pen specially developed for artists and illustrators. The pen contains pigmented drawing ink that is permanent and waterproof, so your artworks retain their colour for a long time. Choose this product when you want to create detailed work that must withstand moisture and fading.

Why choose a brush tip?
The brush tip gives you maximum flexibility in your line drawing. With this tip, you effortlessly vary between fine details of 1.0 mm and broad strokes of 5.0 mm, simply by adjusting the pressure and angle of the pen. This makes the pen ideal for both detailed illustrations and filling in large areas.

Benefits of the pigmented ink
The ink is highly lightfast, which means your artwork will not discolour from sunlight or artificial lighting. In addition, the ink is acid-free, so the paper will not deteriorate over time. The odourless formula ensures you can work comfortably without any irritating fumes.

Practical usage tip
Store the pen horizontally with the cap securely closed to prevent it from drying out. The clip on the cap prevents the pen from rolling away while you work. Always test first on a scrap piece of paper to achieve the desired line effect, as the brush tip responds differently from a regular pen tip.
