When should you use this cotton yarn?

This cotton yarn from folia is intended for handcraft applications such as knitting, crocheting and decorative work. Choose it when you want to make a project that requires a sturdy, reliable yarn that holds its shape well.

Why this size is the right choice

A 50-gram ball containing 150 metres of yarn is a practical size for smaller projects or as a supplement to a larger quantity. It can be combined with multiple balls for larger pieces, or you can use a single ball for accessories and decorative applications.

The key feature: strength from multiple twisting

This yarn has a 32/2x8 construction and has been twisted several times, which gives a particularly stable end result with high tear strength. This means the yarn withstands tension well during knitting or crocheting, and the finished product remains sturdy. Because the yarn is made from 100% cotton, it is naturally strong and holds its shape well during handling.

Practical tip for use

The colour dove blue makes this yarn suitable for both decorative projects and garments or accessories in calm shades. When starting a knitting or crochet pattern, check that the stated yarn weight and needle size match the properties of this yarn, so that the end result matches the measurements in your pattern. Store unused balls preferably dry and out of direct sunlight to protect the colour.
