What does this product do?

Tonkarton is a coloured card that you use for cutting, sticking and drawing projects, presentations, or as a base for cards and folders. This card is coloured right through, which means the colour is not only on the surface but runs through the entire material. As a result, edges and cut or torn pieces stay neat, without a white core becoming visible. This makes it suitable for work where you process the card, such as craft projects or making labels.

Why this format and this colour?

The card is supplied in DIN A4 format and in the colour schokobraun, a warm brown shade that lends itself well to decorative work or as a contrast colour with lighter materials. With 100 sheets per pack, you have enough stock for repeated use, without having to reorder all the time.

What does the high absorbency mean?

The high absorbency ensures that paint, glue or ink is well absorbed into the card instead of sitting on top of it. This is particularly useful for techniques such as watercolour painting or working with glue, where you want the material to take up moisture without warping. The high-quality feel also gives a pleasant, sturdy hand feel when holding and working with the card.
