What is crêpe paper and what do you use it for?
Crêpe paper is an elastic decorative paper that you use for craft projects, decorations and wrapping. The crinkled surface gives it a distinctive texture, and the material is easy to fold, pleat and shape. You need crêpe paper when you want to make flowers, wrap gifts in an original way, or create colourful decorations for parties.

Why this size?
This set contains 1 each of white, yellow, light orange, light blue, brilliant blue, fire red, yellow-green, moss green, pink and brown. The size of 500 mm wide and 2.5 metres long provides enough material for medium to large projects. The handy roll format lets you unroll the paper gradually without creases and always gives you a smooth work surface.

Moisture colouring for batik effects
This crêpe paper has moisture colouring, which means the colour changes and intensifies on contact with moisture. This makes it ideally suited to batik effects and gives you extra creative possibilities. Perfect for playful experiments with water and colour effects.

Practical tip for use
Store the rolls in a dry place and only unroll what you need. For the best result, stretch the paper slightly before you work with it. This activates its natural elasticity and gives you more control over the shape.
